Guayaquil Travel Work Teacher Experience

Guayaquil helped me a lot to open my horizons. I followed my instincts, teaching has been my second job for a long time. To educate you have to want to learn. So I say to me the whole time I have the magic, I have the power, if I can do it here, I can do it there too. Just to let you know i´m Fiorella, born in Peru, currently living and working in Bayonne, France. This story is about my travel to work in Guayaquil. Here I want to share my experience as a teacher of the career of Image Consulting and Fashion Styling. Also, my first time teaching sewing classes.

Thanks to all the team in Chio Lecca Fashion School Ecuador for made me feel at home. So great ambiance for work and creativity spaces. I really enjoyed my time when i was there. I gave Industrial Sewing Classes for students in the mornings... 3 hours of high tension and self control working with ten industrial machines with 15 women with little or no experience in sewing.It is the second time in my life that I see a woman crossing her finger with the needle of the sewing machine. The first was my mother. The second was the student who most knew how to sew.

In the afternoon another 3 hours of class with the group of image consultants, there were difficult times, for example the use of language, there are always words that are not understood in the right context. I liked to generate controversy among them, challenging them was the best strategy, putting them to the test and good humor and simple conversation were relevant factors for the outcome to be beneficial for all. A time well spent.

The midday sun in Guayaquil is 35 degrees average, divine gift of heaven: to have a pool at the school mansion.

My reflection on living in the same place where you also work is that if you organize methodically you achieve it and appreciate it. ahhhh it was good !!!

Thanks to Mrs. Chio Lecca who found me in Cusco and remembered me from some time we met in Lima. Anecdotes of my life that I love because then two moths later we found us again in the airport of Panama. The fate of this story has been curious.

But, it is not suitable for claustrophobic or modest people.

About my time alone, It was good for me to do yoga every day, to swim for at least 30 minutes, to run between days, at night better. Go out alone to walk, walk the bars, galleries, go to shopping centers, prettend to be a customer, eat a lot of ice cream, drink coffee for litres, go to walk in traditional markets, take care of me in a beauty salon, find friends in dating chats and always eat healthy, read a lot and always being fresh.

I definitely enjoy this work trip very much.

I was not informed that were more than one famous people in my classroom. Yes, of course, I had potential artists, business leaders, resolute mothers, TV brides. Wow! Guayaquil did not cease to amaze me.

Billy Diaz, for example, is a talented makeup artist. i felt so blessed to share time with him after school. Great company around. I went to find SOS for my eyebrows. Well you can see in the picture how Billy saved me to the hell.

The warmest people ever!!!!! how incredible is when energies are connected. Lol

His salon is elegant, eclectic, very tasty. Marie Antoinette, your cat knows good. A divine place! Billy, thanks for everything.

Well yeah we made it, we made it BIG! Five weeks after, here we are in the first Fashion Show as a team producing everything themselfs. Music in live, models, good speech, nice reception, lots of flashes!

BRAVO!!! All of them will change the story of fashion industry in Guayaquil. I feel so grateful to them, they taught me more than they can imagine. I am also proud to have left my bit in this era of the fashion revolution Ecuador.

How could I describe this wonderful group? Very smart, kind, demanding, they laughed in the middle of an intense conversation, they are definitely happy and funny people. They are all boxes of surprise. Kundalini team!

Everybody who was involve in the coordination and marketing they were awesome. I´m pretty sure we will see you again some where over the rainbow!
